Renovate

Maintenance and renovation can be incredibly expensive, eating up many years' worth of body corporate fees. For blockages and burst pipes in multi-unit properties, repairs can become especially pricey. This hinders real renovation from taking place and delays the process of updating units – especially when there are many of them!

However, Brisbane drainage specialists are well versed in using a no dig, no disruption way to fix these plumbing problems. Using their ten-step patching process they can avoid the expenses, recourse, disruption, loud noise, and mess associated with digging. Pipes can be unblocked and relined without the need to dig at all. Professional plumbers come fully prepared with the needed tools and technology to free up the drains once more.

Just clearing a blockage will result in more problems emerging later down the line. By diagnosing the issue and fixing it at the source with no-dig technology, drainage specialists can ensure smoothly working pipes. This naturally saves money, time, and stress in the long run.

The Ten Step Process

  1. The pipe is broken due to age and ground movement, allowing roots to ingress causing a blockage.
  2. A CCTV drain camera is sent down the pipe to inspect and identify the blockage as well as the damage to the pipe.
  3. A cable cutter or high-pressure water jet is used to clear and remove the blockage from the pipe.
  4. With the blockage cleared, the camera is deployed again to inspect the pipe.
  5. Another inspection is done with the camera to monitor the progress and have a better look at the remaining damage.
  6. After the inspection is clear, a liner is installed in place on an inflatable packer.
  7. The liner is inflated in place to the required pressure, and then it is left to set to the pipe.
  8. The packer is then deflated and removed after the liner is set.
  9. The camera is deployed down the pipe again to inspect the newly lined pipe.
  10.  Another inspection is done to make sure the pipe is free from foreign objects, and that the liner has set in the correct position.

This ten step no-dig process ensures the protection of landscaping, driveways, and foundations. The pipes have a 25-year guarantee and are durable and long lasting, saving the body corporate funds for actual renovations instead of small pricey fixes.
